Penion sulcatus (Lamarck 1816) Gorgeous Large Heavy!
F+++ 107,5 mm. Very beautiful. Cream, beige and brown bands with attractive spiral knobs and nodulose cords. White aperture and lip with black, brown marks and teeth. Has few slightly growth defects and chipped protoconch doesn't detract detract from it's overall beauty. Trawled at 120-130 m. Off East Beach, North Isl. New Zealand 2002
