Macrostrombus costatus (Gmelin 1791) Gorgeous Thick Heavy!
F+++ W/O 137 mm. Very beautiful and heavy. Cream, white, beige and tones of yellow color with brown marks on early whorls, attractive large spiral knobs and sculpture. White, pale grayish glossy base, aperture and thick lip. Has chipped protoconch and few micro defects. Taken on sand with grass at 5-15 feet. Man-o-War Cay, Abaco, Bahamas 1980
