Latirus hemphilli Hertlein & Strong 1951 Gorgeous Large Yellow!
F+++ W/O 51 mm. Very beautiful and hard to get. Tones of yellow and cream/white color with attractive cords. White ribbed aperture and pale yellow lip with teeth. Has a drill on the base and chipped protoconch doesn't detract from it's overall beauty. Dredged in muddy sand at 30-40 ft. Off Cebaco Isl. Veraguas, West Panama 1987
