Calotrophon ostrearum (Conrad 1846) Outstanding!
F+++/Gem W/O 26,7 mm. Very beautiful, hard to get, becoming very scarce nowadays. Cream, white and grayish color with attractive lamellate cords and knobby varices. White mature ribbed aperture and lip with teeth. Has slightly chipped protoconch. Taken on Busycon egg case at low tide. East of Cape Romano, West Florida 2000
