White, cream aperture and thick lip with teeth. Has a growth mark on the dorsum and slightly chipped protoconch. Taken under rocks at 1-2 m. La Libertad, Santa Elena, Ecuador 1990

Columbella haemastoma Sowerby 1832 Gorgeous! F+++ 18,1 mm. Very beautiful. Body blackish, brown, beige, white and yellowish, orange color over the lip and the canal . Bluish/white aperture, amazing rose, orange canal and lip with teeth. Has a drill mark, few micro defects and slightly chipped protoconch doesn't detract from it's overall beauty.
