Paratrophon cheesemani (Hutton 1882) Outstanding!
F+++/Gem 13,4 mm. Very beautiful. Bluish/white body and grayish, beige color to the top with fine gray spiral lines, attractive sculpture and cords. Brown, beige white mature knobby aperture and lip. Has few micro and the protoconch is slightly chipped. Taken on mussel beds at low tide. Maunganui Bluff, Dargaville, North Isl. New Zealand 1997
